Beautiful flowers / 大和撫子

 Every time I take a tea ceremony lesson, I cannot leave without seeing beautiful flowers decorate in the TOKONOMA for a tea ceremony.

Here is USA, but my teacher has a lot of variety of Japanese flowers.

Many people whould like the western flowers, but I like Japanese flowers.

They are not special nor gourgeous, but I find the term of ”YAMATO-NADESHIKO."

お茶の稽古をするたびに本当に楽しみにしていることは、茶花を見ることです。

可憐にはかなげにたたずむその姿は息を呑むほどに美しい。

大和撫子という言葉にとてもふさわしいと思います。

洋花のように自己主張もせず、緑の葉々の中にぽつんと一輪咲くその姿

日本はどこまでも奥が深いものです。
