I and my brother like Amazake.
Every winter, we always make Amazake.
Put a pot on the wood stove.
Pour some water on the pot and later add koji and mix sometimes.
Koji is a same ingredient of Sake.
Amazake does not have an alcohol.
Amazake means sweet sake.
Add some sugar later...
We put a koji and sugar randomly,
therefore, the flavor varied on a moment-to-moment basis.
One time it was so delicious, other time it had a sloppy flavor.
I miss the smell of Amazake.
私と兄は甘酒が大好きだ
毎年冬になると甘酒を作っては よく飲んでた
薪ストーブに鍋を置いて、水を入れ 麹を入れる
たまにかき混ぜて、そのうち砂糖を入れる
毎回適当な分量で作っていたので 味も毎回ばらばらだった
あるときはとても美味で またあるときはとても味気ない
ここでは甘酒の匂いさえ懐かしい
