薪ストーブに焼き芋に　Wood stove and baked sweet potato

 

Winter has come!!

Mashiko is very cold place.

I guess the mid of winter is same as fridge.

When I remember the winter of Mashiko,

I feel my body becomes shrink,

but also I remember the wood stove in our craft center.

Baked sweet potato is so sweet as the name.

I just wrapped with aluminum and threw into the fire.

After 20 or 30 min,

it turned yellow and had a sweet smell like honey.

Then bite the juicy and flavored sweet potato.

I am sure that the electric oven cannot make this rich flavor.

Winter has come!!

The satsuma potatoes are waiting at the grocery store

to go to wood stove this yeah, too.

 

 

冬がやってきました。

 

 

益子の寒さはまるで冷蔵庫の中のようです。

 

 

益子の冬のことを思い出すと、

 

 

身が縮まるような感じがするのとともに、

 

 

薪ストーブのことも思い出します。

 

 

薪ストーブの炎の中に、

 

 

アルミで包んだサツマイモを入れる。

 

 

そして２，30分待つ。

 

 

取り出したそれは、

 

 

まるで黄金色に輝き、

 

 

ハチミツのような香りを放ちます。

 

 

そして　はふはふ　ほおばる。

 

 

電気のオーブンではこの豊かな味わいは出ないだろうと思います。

 

 

 

冬がやってきました。

 

 

 

今年もスーパーのさつまいもは今か今かと

 

 

その機会を覗っていることでしょう。
